The Burnley Older Peoples Forum (BOPF ) IS NOW THE NUCLEUS OF THE BURNLEY LSP FOR THE OVER 50’S

At the present time BCN has representatives on this new Burnley Action Partneship sub-group, and we are

anxious to give a greater voice to our Older Peoples Forum but we can only do that with your contribution - so if you feel that you can commit to a meeting every quarter (once every three months) and have “Older people issues at heart, please contact the =BCN office to register your interest to join this forum.

Support and mentoring will be offered to new comers.

The Lancashire 50 Plus Assembly

Do you want to get involved and become a representative of the Burnley LSP via Burnley Community Network

on the the Lancashire 50 Plus Assembly ?

 The Lancashire 50 Plus Assembly is a consultative body newly formed to give a voice to the 50 plus generation

 living in Lancashire.

 The Assembly is there to give the opportunity to 50 plus generation from across Lancashire to influence a

 range of ervices in the public sector from health, well-being, employment, retirement, leisure, transportation

 and a range of other opportunities.

 Whatever is your sector of registration within BCN, whatever is your activity or field of expertise, if you some time

 in hand and a bit of dedication to live issues that concern you directly as a 50+ individue , please register your

 interest with our BCN Partnership Officer to have a say on this new initiative at County Levelon behalf of your

 50+ comrades..

 Support will be at hand to assist you in this new partnership working so do not hesitate to CONTACT BCN

 The assembly meets four times each year (usually @ County Hall Preston 11.00 a.m.to 2.00pm all
