Partnership Working Support

(Mr Gordon Howley)

Gordon ensures a BCN representation ,via our members, involvement in all main partnership working at local level (e.g: BAP - Evolve network etc..), at county level (LVCF Consortium, LAA Partnership, CEN North West consortium etc..) and at national level (NAVCA, Urban Forum).

Although, BCN has always had a presence in all the BAP Thematic groups, The Partnership Office is to refresh this representation and offer support and mentoring to new comers while picking in up on cross matters agenda items between the various thematic groups thus ensuring good use of resources and avoiding duplicating efforts to reach the same or complimentary goals.

Assist in facilitating development of local projects.

Assist in developing VCF organisations & Faith Forum.

At the birth of the Community Empowerment Network (CEN=BCN), the Government Office Network appointed BPRCVS as Accountable Body of the Network.

Mr Terry Hephrun (Chief Officer of BPRCVS, member of the Network Management Committee and a BCN representative on BAP) input and contribution in both the development and the good running of the Network has been and is crucial to the Network. The membership of BPRCVS to BCN also translates in Terry holding Chair on the Safer & Stronger Community Cohesion BAP sub group.
