Burnley Local Strategic Partnership (BAP = Burnley Action Partnership)
Review (March 2011)
Rob Dobson (BAP Manager) attended the BCN Management Committee on the 15th March 2011
and explained the context of the review mainly driven in part by the recent funding cuts imposed
to the Council

The BAP Executive
6 meetings scheduled for this year 2011-2012
1 seat for BCN Chair. Champions of Thematic group also to attend which currently gives another seat to BCN in the person of Mr Terry Hephrun (Stronger Communities Champion) and also
Gordon Howley from the Children’s Trust albeit representing the Short Stay Schools.
The Executive also agreed to allocate a supplementary seat to BCN
Resume of BCN seats on the BAP Executive:
2 seats by right (1 being automatically allocated to the Chair of BCN and 1 for the BCN Vice Chair on BCN on BAP) + 1 seat due the Stronger Community Champion belonging to the BCN third structure.
(*) the seat of Mr G. Howley is not a BCN seat by right but indirectly benefits the Network through his private and professional involvement with BCN
